VANILLA ORE DISTRIBUTION

When you start digging deep in Minecraft, you ask yourself at which heights it’s best to collect which ores. In Minecraft 1.18, the generation of ores has been completely reworked, which now allows complex distributions at different heights. With WorldPainter it is not possible to represent these complex distributions. Nevertheless, I try to make sure that you can find ores on the erath maps exactly where you would find them on a vanilla map. Maybe not with the exact probabilities, but at least at the right heights.

For those of you who want to optimise your game as best as possible, you can find all the distributions of the ores on the earth maps here. These refer to the 1.19 maps; everything below 0 is omitted from earlier maps.
